Outer Limits
New Frames release “Outer Limits”, their first EP for BITE. The duo of Mathis Mootz aka The Panacea and fellow Berlin resident David Frisch combine their inspirations of thriving techno rave culture from its origins to today into transcending electronic music that is progressively contemporary. Previously releasing on labels such as Hands, R-Label, or Haven, New Frames always develop productions suited both for the dancefloor and repeated listening with detailed, multilayered sound design against masterfully powerful instrumentation and precise programming. In this release, they expand their stylistic palette beyond their established old school and industrial inflected techno sound to broken beat “The Wipe” alike immense trips and sub bass heavy driven sample rollers. Even the most diehard industrial techno lover will have difficulty realizing this is still industrial as well as going beyond those boundaries.
