Alex Virgo breathes his love of disco into all that he touches. With each release the London producer explores the genre's myriad forms, ranging from nu-disco to italo and cosmic inflections. On ''Don't Buy The Sun'' EP retro drum machines reverberate amongst full-bodied synth melodies, often backed by an assertive beat that gives the tracks their driving propulsion. At times, the music seems most fitted to an industrial warehouse setting whilst at others, a space shuttle ride to the moon.
