ASC, the dynamic duo made up of Mark Archer and Shadow Child return to Super Rhythm Trax with an absolute belter of an EP. The A side hits you in the gut with 'Nine Oh' and 'Yih', two hard, funky and intensely tunnel vision tracks almost reminiscent of 90's Dan Bell and DJ Hyperactive in their outlook. Flip the record for a real treat of a remix from Dance System (Night Slugs/Clone etc) of 'Eye Feel' (the breakaway hit from the last MASC ep SRTX 024) where genres and tempos are thrown in the blender to create a masterful and extremely fun version that's as effective as it is playful. The EP is rounded off with 'WKP', a wistful ode to the pairs love of late 80's freestyle and electro.
