Back in the early 90?s Dave Coker, Justin Bailey and Laurant Webb set up a music production studio a stones throw away from the famous Cutty Sark in Greenwich, along with Dave ? Deptford ? Pine as one the founders of the aforementioned studio. They called themselves Strangeweather, worked on different dance music styles and formed the fabulously awesome, but slightly ill fated band Wubble U. Around the same time Justin struck up a friendship with Nathan Coles, a then madly enthusiastic young DJ who was starting to make a name for himself on the thriving underground house scene. Nathan introduced Justin to Terry Francis and the rest of the crew and collectively the formed Housey Doings. They released two records on the Bush subsidiary imprint Green Grass and as if by magic tech house was officially born. Fast forward a couple of years and the boys replaced the ?s? with a ?z? and struck out on their own. This is a re-release of the first record on the label they named after the now legendary club night Wiggle. Two sides of proper, UK style tech house - a sound that?s been copied, plagiarized and endlessly imitated. But never bettered.
