To release a new piece of music, it would seem, is to enter a competition for approval and appearances: who will play that track and how many will follow. Likes. Clicks. Transient signs of appreciation, or perhaps just vague nods of confirmation. But what about all those values inherent in music that just can't be quantified? If merely one single person would listen to these songs and find herself or himself genuinely moved by them, wouldn't it be worth it? We think so. We really do.
