Following his appearance (albeit in remixed form) on the debut 12'' from Keyboard Masher's Pleasure Unit imprint, Norwegian eccentric Skatebard is given the honour of releasing the label's second EP. Apparently all three tracks are vintage cuts from the archive, previously unheard but original recorded straight to tape in his home studio. There's naturally much to enjoy, beginning with the Scandolearic-goes-rave synth-house madness of ''React 2 Rhythm'' - all urgent, swirling beats, epic synthesizer melodies and mid-'90s US garage influences. There's more surging, nu-disco goes-house fare to be found on ''It Goes On & On (The Bassline)'', while ''Pingu'' is a joyous chunk of chugging Scandolearica blessed with tactile shaker percussion and a jaunty, rock solid synth bassline.
