Just Us (And Them) EP
Promo Text: E.E: u there dude? / J.O: yes, working / E.E: like al bundy, your the man ;-) / J.O: So what do you wanna do about this label text - i find it really hard to write bullshit promo text spin / E.E: that's why i wanted to chat / J.O: Lets Chat! - so we really do not want just another standard spin right. / E.E: No - but how do we let people know what we are about, without sounding like salesmen! - also nothing about us is standard !!! / J.O: Right - all that ''we are a new label dedicated to the sounds of the underground blah blah blah'', it just sounds so tired, standard press crap, So lets just be honest... / E.E: we could go all UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE on there asses. / J.O: go UR! - but that's also a type of marketing tool in todays world also right? The cool faceless no name lable, right? / E.E: See your point. / J.O: Argh this is hard. At the end of the day whatever we write will not make people like it more - the music does that on its own! Press text is 99 .9% all crap and makes me angry. / E.E: I like the way this sounds - maybe this should be our text ?. J.O: We believe in this, that’s why we're doing it - house music, what more do we need to say - JackOff! / J.O: yes in fact our Skype conversation should be the press text!! / E.E: Hell Yeah! / J.O: right. / E.E: Ok. / J.O: So how many will be printed first? / E.E: I will be back in 5min. / J.O: Ok. / J.O: Another example... posted on a known blog today: “Does an album like this really need to justify itself with a shitty promo write up?” - no!. How about this for a line...? The beauty of JackOffs music is that it speaks for itself. There is no point inflating it with bullshit promo spin! / E.E: Well i'm down with that! / J.O: Ok, good - guess what? / E.E: What? / J.O: I'm eating figs / J.O: Soft dried / J.O: Very nice they are. / J.O: Just thought i'd add that. / E.E: I'm glad u did. / J.O: So how many copies will be pressed for each release? / E.E: Its 20 0 copies vinyl - at first, if they sell out we might re-press- we shall see...
