Mindless Boogie is seeing in the new decade with a 12'' from its latest recruit, Kid Who. The South London resident has been turning heads in the past year since switching from Hip Hop to Disco; dropping funk 45s for extended disco mixes, and unleashing his own synth and sample-heavy sound in the process. Mindless Boogie 23: Kid Who features three of his edits with a range of styles, samples and influences; from euro-disco to soundtrack-stadium-pop, cutting up and rejigging Logic System, Blancmange and Tina Turner into dubbed out, dusty, disco jams. With more remixes and original releases in the pipeline for 2010, Kid Who is certainly one to watch.
