Reade Truth
Let's Go To Heaven
Wurst kicks off the new decade with Reade Truth's auspicious debut for the label. The longtime techno vet - he of Strictly Rhtyhm and Sonic Groove pedigree - turns in quite the heady offerings. “Let's Go To Heaven” is a brooding, electro-fueled, and dare we say, sleazy affair. Perfect for building the night up or taking it down, horizontal dancing style. “Folie a Deux” takes an altogether different approach, what with its relentless, infectious bounce. The man's “Crimen Excepta” EP for Planet E last year was quite a tough act to follow, but we'd like to think Reade turned it up a notch for his Wurst EP. On the flip is none other than Brennan Green, whose cheekily-titled version of the a-side, “Let's Go To New York Instead” is a startlingly tough house remix, not to mention an undeniable dancefloor bomb.
