Giegling is a new label from Weimar, a name that always brings a certain historical weight and classic athmosphere being the former intellectual center of germany in the Goethe period, the man who came up with the term Homogenialität (meaning something as Like Minded in english) and who did a lot of work in the field of aestheatics in arts. Maybe its a coincendence but Giegling has a great feeling for Aesthetics with their unique approach with very original recycled sleeves that are personalized with screenprintings and stamps. Anyway... Giegling delivers two tasty minimalized techno tracks and an ambient piece as bonus, the kind of tracks one could expect on Traum or Smallville. Nice piano keys and layers of underwater-ish melodies set the warm athmosphere, the melodic basslines and the smooth grooves makes this some great tracks that stand out. The 10 minute long title track keeps on growing, changing and going on without getting boring. Three excellent pieces that fit the very original artwork done in a very small run of 300 copies! One label to keep an eye on!
