After the welcome release of “Book of Dogma” back in January, Soma Recordings unearth another classic from the vault as they unleash a limited edition of “Temple of Transparent Balls”. First released on GPR in 1993, the album broke important ground, helping shape and influence the emerging sounds of UK Techno on a wider stage. Continually pushing the boundaries and playing on listener expectations, this particular body of work exhibits rhythmically complex tracks like “4,7,8” , “The Actor and the Audience” and “Mango” as the outfit aimed to move beyond the traditional mould. Juxtaposed with the soothing melodies of “Cost I”and “Cost II”, the dark ambience of “The Crete that Crete Made”. This is yet another resurrection more than worth its salt.
